Manufactured in the United States, our recycled rubber underlayment is composed of 94% recycled materials. It was originally created in the year 2000 and remains the top choice for sound control underlayment. This underlayment is available in various thicknesses - 2mm, 5mm, 10mm, and 12mm - to meet a wide range of performance needs. Shipped securely in a box, whether through Prime or directly from IsoStore's inventory in Indiana, our underlayment includes a crack isolation membrane (ANSI A118.12) to protect ceramic, porcelain, and stone tiles from substrate cracks. It is commercially rated by the Tile Council of North America and meets various ASTM standards for quality and performance.

With an R-value less than 1, our underlayment is suitable for installation over heated floors. It has been tested for Density (ASTM D297), Thickness (ASTM D3676), Tensile Strength (ASTM D412, Die C), Compression @ 100 psi (ASTM F36), Shore A Hardness (ASTM D2240), and Crack Resistance (ASTM C627). Offering high performance with a Delta IIC of 20, our 4' x 30' roll of 5mm thickness provides excellent sound control.
